LOST IN SPICE (1)

SO it is INDIA ! Incredible India that is. The one goes there expecting not to expect what to expect and you know what: whatever you expect from India in your First Time will be VERY VERY different than whatever you “prepared” yourself emotionally and physically to/for.

DAY 1:

Arriving at Delhi early in the morning, not having a hotel booking i managed to find a cab that would show me around KAROL BAGH for cheap accommodations, after few screenings i decided on one comparatively clean hotel with a window and a good bathroom: SunStar Heritage. Showered, unpacked and got ready to tour the amazingly huge diversified Delhi.

I started with Jami Masjid, one huge mosque that can contain 30 thousand worshipers, i was shown the alleged hair, shoe and foot print of prophet Mohammed -peace upon him- then i took off to the Humayun’s tomb, OH BOY, this is one of my favorite places in India. lovely! afterwards i headed to the Bahai temple which is a modern design in the shape of the lotus, breath taking and ended a long day in Qutub Minart which has a huge pillar! you can google and wiki all the places i am mentioning as i am no good in remembering historical facts and names! we also drove by the presdential palace and ministries,  and of cousrse, India gate.

Day 1 was tiring, disorienting, horrifying (from the crazy traffic and pollution). i just retired and got drifted away in a long night sleep dreaming of the next day.
